How to Partner


We ALWAYS use brokers to buy our shopping centers.  Together we identify, underwrite and submit offers on under-performing buildings.

1) download buying criteria


We physically upgrade the property, plus co-market with 3D tours, video walkthroughs, loopnet premium, costar, social ads, and direct mail.

2) Schedule Call


As soon as we hit pro-forma occupancy we’ll list with the broker who brought us the deal.  The faster we turn the deal, the better the ROI. 

3) Submit BOV


Sean is a full-time real estate investor and landlord who has spearheaded 75+ deals ranging from value-add renovations to new construction.  His focus is revitalizing fixer-upper shopping centers to maximize returns for friends & colleagues who invest alongside them.

The Katona’s portfolio includes retail, apartments, storage, single family rentals, REITs, and a handful of volatile stocks picked up in March 2020 (for added excitement).   Prior to becoming a strip-mall enthusiast, he worked at Microsoft & EA Sports selling Xbox Ads to Hollywood and automakers. Proud alumni of the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington with concentrations in Marketing, Technology and Sales.
