His focus at Simplified Properties is revitalizing fixer-upper shopping centers to maximize returns for friends & colleagues who invest alongside them. The Katona’s portfolio includes retail, apartments, storage, single family rentals, REITs, and a handful of volatile stocks picked up in March 2020 (for added excitement). Prior to becoming a strip-mall enthusiast, he worked at Microsoft & EA Sports selling Xbox Ads to Hollywood and automakers.
